Friday The 13th

Just a perfect time to release the photos! I made up four posters for the movie using photoshop. I enjoy photoshop so much. I should learn to do more stuff with it...

End of April...

So Brandon is making a movie at the end of April. I'm helping out as much as I can. I'm going to be head of Clean-up Crew and also help with Set Decorating. We are supposed to start shooting at the end of April, hopefully it will go well. We are shooting for doing it in a couple days. Not sure how much that will work, but whatever. After he gets it all edited we are going to have a cast-screening and then a screening of the film at Wealthy Theater. It's gonna be great times!

I've spent most of my night figuring out what one of the posters is going to look like. Font, color, stuff like that. I will post my creations when I can. Right now all I'm planning on doing when I get out of work is create the background for the Myspace, and then a different poster for it. I also need to work on creating a photo look like it's drawn and all that. It shouldn't take too long, but being a perfectionist it'll take a while...

I also started writing again on my story. I really want to finish it, but just kind of went away from it. I don't have any new photo's. It's still cold, and I'll have a lot more once the movie starts.

New Pictures

I had the chance to take some profile pictures of my friend. I needed to practice taking pictures of people. It worked out well, and I think that I'm able to do it. I still want to practice a bit more with it, so when it gets warmer, I'll ask Brandon to help me with it. It was a lot of fun, and there were spots that I didn't know about. So yea. Great times! Also got some photo's taken of me! That's it for now!

It's Been Awhile...

Sorry I haven't been on here. I don't really know why, just haven't gotten around to it. This past week my Great-Grandma Card and Grandpa Card passed away. My Grandpa's funeral is tomorrow at 11:00 AM. My Great-Grandma's is still pending. I'm not really sure how I'm feeling, it goes by day by day. I'll be fine one day, but then the next, I'm all over the place. It's sad to see both relatives passing away within days of each other. So yea.

I haven't been working on my story, which I should. Just haven't been. Guess I've got writers block or something. I just really haven't tried. Ha. Great.

This summer Brandon is working on a movie and I'll be doing still shots of the sets and characters and such. I'm excited with that. I need to work on photos of people. So far I've basically done scenery shots or of objects. So I need the practice before then. I've done one "Poster" shot with my camera. Which I'm not sure where it went. Haha. Brandon has told me that I can take some portfolio pictures for him, for the practice. Not sure when I'll do that, but sometime in spring, I would guess. I really haven't taken any more photos this winter.

Things are looking up

So, like it says in the title, things are beginning to look up. Yesterday I went to the bank with Brandon to cash my check. Come to find out they don't accept 3rd party checks anymore. So I got all discouraged and such. The teller at the bank asked the reason why I didn't have a bank account yet. I replied with an honest answer with, "My credit union closed my account due to money issues." So again, I was discouraged through everything. I wasn't going to get my check cashed, and I'd have to find some place else. Well the Teller goes on to saying that she would check to see if I would be able to open an account with them. A few minutes later; BAM; she could. So I said awesome, but I didn't have my ID. So she said that if I promised to come back today, she'd cash my check and I'd open an account with them.

So I woke up at 8:30 to get to the Secretary of State by 9. Went got another ID and went to the bank to open up an account. As I did this, they said that they would give me a Credit Card with $500 on it, just as long as my mom co-signs. So that will be coming also! And when I go back to school, they will give me another one! I'm excited.

Also, I plan on starting classes in the fall. Hopefully I can take 3 classes and do well in them. Last time around didn't work out to well. And now that I have free-time at my job, I can do homework and such here, as well as at Brandon's. I'm really excited for all this to fall into place, and really grateful today.

Update!

So I've been stuck on my story for awhile, and sort of taking a break from it. I'm re-reading what I have so far, making changes and hopefully will be able to write a little more. It's tiring to be working on this, because it takes so much detail. Usually it takes me an hour to write just one page. It's a work in progress though, and hopefully I can get it done. I'm still pretty sure that my goal is going to be 50 pages minimum. Seems like something that can easily be done. But yet, not really. What I'm worried about right now is that the story will get boring after awhile. It's basically in real time so you feel like your going through the day with my character. I'm only at page 18 and by the time I'm finished with a big part of the story, I hope that it'll be close to 50. I guess I won't know until I'm done with that part. Not sure how many people would like to proof read it when it's all done, but I would need help with that. I want to try and publish it instead of putting it on the internet. See how that one sells as I work on the second part of the book. I'm excited to do the second and third book. It has a lot of action and awesome stuff in it. I'm just not sure if the first books going to hold for the rest of them. I believe it to be interesting also, but the next two will be more interesting. So that's all I have for now on my progress of story.

I do have a portfolio going for my pictures, it's on Facebook right now. I was thinking on building a website for them, and using that for things. I'm not sure how well that'll go because I have to relearn HTML. Sounds like fun? No not really. It's stressful and not fun. Haha.

Well I suppose that's it for now.

Happy Almost New Year!

It's a couple hours from now. I'm going to be bringing in the New Year with myself and the hotel. Fun stuff huh? I thought so. So after work I'll be in my room; nice, warm, and cozy. I should have brought more stuff to do. But then again, I have to get up all early and stuff. I have to work at 7am tomorrow, so I might as well stay in one place. Since gas is still money. This is my first New Years sober, so I'm pretty hyped about it. :D

Still not sure if I should make resolutions or not. I do have a list of my goals for the New Year, so I guess those are my resolutions.

Finish and publish my First book
Start working on my Second book
Get back into school (even if it's a few classes)
Possibly make a portfolio of my portraits
Get a whole year of Sobriety

I think that's really it for the year. I don't want to put to much, because if I don't make all of those, I'd be pretty disappointed. So that's it for the moment, at least this year. They seem like possibilities, so we'll see.
